Children are important at Cross Life Church! I believe that the Spirit of the Lord is hovering over the face of our children’s ministry, and transforming it into an equipping center and into a training ground that moves children into spiritual leadership, not just in their adult years, but also as children. They are leading in prayers, worship, and moving in the power and wisdom of the Spirit. God is doing a new work. He’s calling children to the greatness He’s designed for them, “…and a little child shall lead them.” Isaiah 11:6.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School We want children to wake up every Sunday morning excited to go to church. We provide a great place for them to experience God’s love through Bible lessons, music and art. We offer Sunday school for children from birth to 6th grade every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Children’s church is a powerful time for children ages 4 yrs – second grade, to meet friends, talk about God’s love, and participate in a meaningful worship. This is a call to worship through prayer, singing, and teaching. During this time, the message is presented through video, puppets, prayer time and songs of worship. We offer Children’s Church at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Vacation Bible School is a very exciting time here at Cross Life Church. It includes participation from every age level. In our adventure of the Holy Land, children will experience new traditions, taste new foods, and try new arts and crafts. Throughout the week, children and adults experience what it was like to be a part of one of the tribes of Israel. They explore authentic Jewish family customs, and become apprentices at a variety of Marketplace shops and discover games for children that were in Jesus’ time. These awesome experiences bring fresh life to Bible stories they may have heard again and again. It’s our prayer that during VBS, the lives of children and adults are touched and hearts changed, and that they were able to discover that Jesus chose the cross because of His unfailing love for them.

HARVEST FEST

Harvest Fest is always held every October 31st. It is an alternative on Halloween for our church families and our community. It’s an outstanding evangelistic tool! Non-Christian parents who live nearby, chose to have their children come to the safety of our church instead of trick or treating. What a blessing, and a seed is planted for Jesus! Each Sunday School Class is asked to do a booth or a game. We have free food, games and candy for everyone.

CHURCH CAMP

Church Camp is a great time for the children who have just completed 3rd – 6th grade. Camp is in Solgohachia, Arkansas, just outside of Morrilton. It is a 3 night, 4 day camp. The name of the camp is Ozark Conference. The children spend days participating in Bible Study, worship, and games. Each day there is a theme, which revolves in their activities, skits and games. The camp is Bible-Centered, Child–Focused, and Life-Changing Oriented.

PUPPET MINISTRY

The “Puppet Ministry” is just starting up here at Cross Life Church. The puppets help introduce the story each Sunday morning in children’s church. Puppets help teach the children how Jesus felt towards different subjects. Puppets just know how to make everything less serious and a whole lot of fun. Our puppeteers are very important in conveying a sense of reality to the lesson or show. The puppet ministry is for children in the 5th & 6th grades, youth, and adults. Thru great acting along with good puppet scripts you have just locked in on a child’s attention and heart. Meeting time is Sunday afternoons at 3:30 p.m., in the chapel.
